The chaparral biome is very dry throughout most of the year so organisms must be well adapted to warm, dry climates. Temperature is being affected by the environmental problems that are going on in the world. Greenhouse effect is the warming of the lower part of the Earth. Global warming more than likely affected the chaparral biome because of its harshly dry wand warm climate. Acid rain doesn't really affect this biome because this biome has such a dry climate. Biological magnification is suffered by organisms in this biome because of the amount of poison being set out and the amount of pesticide being sprayed in the air. The destruction of the ozone layer is also affecting the Chaparral. It contributes to why less forest fires are about.
